Steadman Marlin and the Sadler Brothers team finished an impressive 19th in Saturday’s NAPA Online.com 250 at MIS. Steadman qualified the #95 Shoney’s Inn Ford 29th and was able to stay out of trouble, have great pit stops and finish on the lead lap. In a field that consisted of many Winston Cup regulars, the young Marlin was able to gain invaluable experience at one of NASCAR’s fastest tracks. However, everyone was forced to play “Follow-the-Leader” as Ryan Newman, in his Penske owned Ford lead 119 of the 125 laps. Series points leader Kevin Harvick finished 2nd and increased his lead to 236 points over Jason Keller.
The team will return home and quickly turn around and head to Bristol for Friday nights event. They are looking to build on the momentum of this week’s success. Congratulations to Steadman and the entire team and Good luck at Thunder Valley!
