Steadman Marlin and the Sadler Brothers team finished an impressive 19th in Saturday’s NAPA 250 at MIS. Steadman qualified the #95 Shoney’s Inn Ford 29th and was able to stay out of trouble, have great pit stops and finish on the lead lap. In a field that consisted of many Winston Cup regulars, the young Marlin was able to gain invaluable experience at one of NASCAR’s fastest tracks. However, everyone was forced to play “Follow-the-Leader” as Ryan Newman, in his Penske owned Ford lead 119 of the 125 laps. Series points leader Kevin Harvick finished 2nd and increased his lead to 236 points over Jason Keller.
