Bobby Jr. Qualifies 19th for Saturday’s Busch Race
Following up his pole-winning performance in yesterday’s ARCA qualifying, Bobby easily made the field for the Stihl Outdoor Power Tools 300. His run lasted 30.178 seconds for a speed of 183.710 mph, placing him 19th on Saturday’s starting grid.
The Sadler team is excited about the strong qualifying runs, and is looking forward to two excellent races this weekend in Atlanta.
The schedule for the weekend’s races is:
Bobby Hamilton Jr. Wins the Pole for the ARCA Winn Dixie 250!
Bobby Hamilton Jr. and the Sadler Race team got the weekend off to a great start.
Bobby won the pole for Friday’s Arca race with a lap time of 30.074 sec for a speed of 184.345 mph. Frank Kimmel, the series points leader, was second with a time of 30.288 sec and speed of 183.043 mph.
It is Bobby Hamilton Jr.’s first career pole, in only his 5th Arca start. So far, Bobby has 3 top five finishes in his 4 starts in the series.
The Winn Dixie 250 will be run a 1 p.m. EST Friday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Bobby will attempt to run the last ARCA race and two Busch Grand National races with the Sadler Team this fall.
