Sadler Racing Announces 1999 Racing Schedule
Sadler Racing has signed Bobby Hamilton Jr. to a full Busch Series ride for the 1999 season. The team is currently preparing new Chevrolets under the direction of their new crew chief, Gary Scott.
Lil’ Bobby has shown great potential this year. He finished the season with four top-fives in 5 ARCA starts and strong runs in a couple of BGN races.
The Sadler Team will enter Bobby in the ARCA 200 at Daytona as preparation for his first Daytona Busch race. Then, Bobby will run the entire Busch season.
The Team is also planning to field Winston Cup cars for five races next season. They will attempt both races at Daytona and Talladega and the Brickyard 400 at Indy. The Winston Cup driver will be announced at a later date, but there is a possibility of putting Lil’ Bobby in the car late in the year.
They are currently working to secure sponsorship for the season. However, Mr. Earl Sadler has committed to the full season, no matter what.
Here’s the schedule of races that they plan to run next year.
