The Sadler Team ready for the Primestar 500 in Atlanta
Emotions are high at the Sadler Racing shop in Nashville, TN, as the team prepares for the Atlanta race this weekend. Last Wednesday they went to the 1.5 mile Superspeedway in Hampton, GA for testing. Crew Chief Doug Fowler said the car ran great and that Andy was pleased with the way the car handled.
Atlanta Motor Speedway underwent drastic changes last year. The track layout was changed from an oval to a tri-oval, the back-streach became the front-streach and speeds increased considerably. However, NASCAR has made some controversial rule changes this year that have decreased the downforce, which should make things very interesting in Atlanta.
On the heals of the Inaugral Las Vegas 400, where Ford doninated with 13 of the top 15 finishing positions, look for Chevrolet to be racing hard with an attitude!
